Whether you're hosting a professional conference, corporate workshop, or community event, our Board members can provide meaningful content that resonates and inspires action.

By engaging an MHAF Board member as a speaker or presenter, you’re not only getting access to expert knowledge but also supporting the mission of the Mental Health Advancement Foundation. Our Board members' appearances help raise funds for essential mental health programs in underserved areas, making a positive impact on communities in need.

Available Topics for Engagement:

  • Mental Health Education & Training: Board members can deliver dynamic presentations on understanding mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and suicide prevention.

  • Mental Health in Rural and Underserved Areas: Discussions focused on the unique challenges facing rural communities, and strategies to increase access to mental health care in these areas.

  • Policy and Advocacy: Expert insights on the legislative landscape for mental health, including local and state-level policy changes that impact the availability and quality of care.

  • Therapeutic Practices: Board members with clinical expertise can offer workshops and seminars on therapeutic techniques for mental health professionals, including evidence-based practices and emerging trends in therapy.

Engagement Fees for For-Profit Entities:

For-profit organizations are invited to hire our Board members for speaking engagements, workshops, and consulting. The fees associated with these engagements help support the continued work of MHAF, allowing us to provide services and scholarships to individuals pursuing careers in mental health in underserved communities.

  • Standard Speaking Engagement Fee: The fee for a typical speaking engagement or workshop is $500 to $5,000 depending on the length of the event, the topic, and the specific needs of the organization.

  • Additional Costs: Travel, accommodations, and materials for workshops or presentations are typically an additional cost for for-profit entities. These will be outlined and agreed upon prior to the event.

Engaging an MHAF Board member provides not only invaluable content but also supports our ongoing initiatives to improve mental health services in rural and underserved regions.

Donation-Based Engagement for Nonprofit Entities:

For nonprofit organizations and community groups, we believe that the mission of MHAF and the importance of mental health advocacy should be accessible to all. As such, MHAF is happy to offer Board member speaking engagements on a donation basis.

  • Donation-Based Fee Structure: Nonprofits and community organizations can request a Board member’s participation without a set fee. Instead, we ask that the organization make a donation to the Mental Health Advancement Foundation based on their capacity, the size of the event, and the overall budget.

  • Suggested Donation: While the donation amount is flexible, we recommend a minimum donation of $150 to support the Foundation's ongoing efforts. Larger donations are encouraged and will directly benefit MHAF programs, scholarships, and community outreach.
